PROJECT TITLE: "TRAINING SUPPORT PACKAGE"

CLIENT: LODGISTIX-HMS
DESCRIPTION: A 10-lesson interactive training program on CD-ROM (Note:
script-storyboards for Lessons 1 and 3 are included here)

PURPOSE: Lodgistix-HMS is a developer of advanced "property manage-

ment" software systems for major hotel chains. After developing
their premier product, the Lanmark system, Lodgistix wished to
design and produce a comprehensive CD-ROM based training
program, that would be installed at each customer's property.
The ultimate purpose of this program was to dramatically
reduce – or eliminate altogether – the need for students to study
from the thick 3-ring binders that such training programs
normally require. Rather, students would have an engaging,
interesting multi-media system, available 24 hours a day.
Program was intended to take trainees with no knowledge of
computers to a basic level of proficiency in minimum possible
amount of time and effort.

FEATURES: Complete adaptation of all user documentation into one,

compre-hensive presentation
Introduction to modern computer systems, keyboards
Audio-simulated guest interaction scenarios, requiring extensive
task execution; narrative stresses quality customer service

Innovative quiz-show oriented testing modules, with proprietary
animated 3D host, "Cool Ray Tube"

RESULTS: Reduced training time for newly-hired front desk/reservations
