WRITING ASSIGNMENT 4th grade

Read this page carefully.

You are sleeping. Suddenly a mysterious noise wakes you up in

the middle of the night. You are not sure if you should open the
door of your bedroom to have a look. You are really scared.

Finally you decide to open

the door and then you

Describe what you see.

• every part of its body (head, mouth, ears, nose... )

• other parts of the body: legs, arms, hands...
• Physical appearance in general (colour, size)
• What the monster is doing and why...

and explain why it is mysterious, or horrible or ...

Be sure to describe it in as much detail as you can (think of all

your senses).
