Kris Aquino wants to "remain quiet" about her latest marital problem

Kris Aquino issued a statement about her marital

problem. This was shown on ABS-CBN's
nightly entertainment talk show SNN last
Tuesday, June 22, hours after her good friend
and talent manager Boy Abunda confirmed that
Kris and her husband James Yap "are not okay."

Here is Kris's statement:

"There have been series of life-altering events in my life this past year—from our mother's death
to my brother's election, and now my moving in a different direction as far as my career is
concerned. Lastly, there is this state of my marriage.

"I would like to say that where I am now is a result of many months fortitude and in the last
couple of months, careful thought. My sole priority is the well being of my sons, Josh and
Bimby. We are together, they are in my care and it's my intention and prayer to make this period
of our lives to be as free from trauma as possible.

"I chose to keep my silence primarily because my current state is not one for celebration or
lengthy discussion but rather prayer, private reflection, and quiet. It is in the best interest of my
two sons that I remain quiet most especially because I shouldn't make what's already difficult
becomes more painful."

JAMES REMAINS MUM. On the other hand, james has no idea that Boy has already told the
public his misunderstanding with Kris during a charity event in Cebu. Despite this, the B-Meg
Derby Ace guard still refused to give detail about the issue when he was exclusively interviewed
by Star Patroller Gretchen Fullido.
"Alam mo, sa totoo lang, prang hindi mo ako kilala, talagang pagdating sa personal na buhay ko,
hindi talaga ako nagsasalita. So, kapag mga ganun, akin na lang 'yon," the basketball player said.

James also does not want Baby James and Josh to be affected with their latest marriage crisis.
He also mentioned that's he's ready to accept whatever decision Kris makes about their
marriage.
