This idiom means to like something

shě bù dé fàng shǒu de dì bù 。

"Ai bu shi shou" means to love something too much to be willing to part with it.

are everything, yet aren't anything.

hán jiā ：zhè jiù shì yǔ huā shí de mí rén zhī chù 。

This is why they are so mesmerizing

look, here's a portrait of the queen.

hán jiā : hái zhēn de yǒu diǎn xiàng nà me huí shì 。

韩 佳: 还 真 的 有 点 像 那 么 回 事 。
It really does have some resemblance.
dà niú : bú guò zhēn rén bí zǐ méi nà me jiān 。
大 牛 : 不 过 真 人鼻 子 没 那 么 尖 。
But the real queen's nose isn't that pointy.

hán jiā : zhè shì xiàng rén wù de ，

韩 佳 : 这 是 像 人 物 的 ，
These resemble people.

hái yǒu xiàng shān chuān ， huā huì hé dòng wù de ne ！

还 有 像 山 川 ， 花 卉 和 动 物 的 呢 ！
Others resemble landscape, flowers, and animals.

look, these look like Chinese characters.

zhè lǐ jiù shì zhōng guó 《 kuài lè zhōng guó 》 de zhōng guó 。
这 里 就 是 中 国 《 快 乐 中 国 》 的 中 国 。
This is "China," as in Happy China.

hán jiā : dà niú nǐ kàn zhè kuài chì lù xì shuǐ de shí tóu 。
韩 佳: 大 牛 你 看 这 块 赤 鹿 戏 水 的 石 头 。
Look at this "Red deer by the water."

rén men hái wéi tā pèi le yì shǒu xiǎo shī ne 。

人 们 还 为 它 配了一 首 小 诗 呢 。

In the setting sun,

Yuhua pebbles are know for

měi zài tiān qù ， měi zài shén yùn 。

美 在 天 趣 ， 美 在 神 韵 。
their natural and tasteful beauty.

bú shì bǎo shí shèng sì bǎo shí 。

不 是 宝 石 胜 似 宝 石 。
Not gems, yet better than gems.

They're not gems, they are better than gems.

Han Jia, I truly feel that the Yuhua pebbles

bǐ mǒu yì xiē rén wéi de yì shù pǐn hái yào hǎo kàn 。
比 某 一 些 人 为 的 艺 术 品 还 要 好 看 。
are more beautiful than some artificial artwork.

But Yuhua pebbles prove

天 工 是 巧 夺 不 了 的 。
that one cannot "qiao duo tian gong."

mǔ dān bèi rén men yù wéi huā huáng hòu ，

牡 丹 被 人 们 誉 为 花 皇 后 ，
 Peony is called the queen of flowers,

wǒ kàn ā zhè yǔ huā shí ，

我 看 啊 这 雨 花 石 ，
and I think that Yuhua pebbles

kě yǐ bèi chēng wéi shí huáng hòu le 。

可 以 被 称 为 石 皇 后 了 。
are the queen of pebbles.

hán jiā : āi ， dà niú 。 nǐ qù nǎ ér ā ？

韩 佳 : 哎 ， 大 牛 。 你 去 哪儿啊 ？

dà niú : āi ya ， zhī zhè me yí kuài ér yě tài shǎo le ba 。
