On July 20, 2010, at 11:35 p.m., Denver Police were contacted regarding a shooting at
2375 South Williams Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found one male
suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to Denver Health Medical
Center where he was pronounced dead.

Through the investigation Detectives learned two males and a female where visiting the
residence at 2375 South Williams Street. During this visit, the three-armed visitors
attempted to rob the people living there. One of the robbery victims was able to seize
control of one of the robber's guns. He then shot one of the male suspects. The other two
suspects (male and female) ran from the scene and remain at large at this time.

This crime is being investigated as a homicide and the identity of the deceased suspect is
pending the positive identification and notification of next of kin by the Office of the
Medical Examiner.
