北京特写

北京是中国的首都和第一大城市。它的面积和比利时一样大。它有五星级宾馆，数以

百计的饭店，历史古迹，美丽的公园，还有由一千万人口组成的“人山人海”。在北京，

你会看到各省来的人，他们在这首都生活，工作，旅行。另外还有三万多来自一百多个

国家的外国人，他们也与北京人生活在一起， 其中有些人还能说一口流利的北京话 。

三千年来，北京一直是中国历史上的重要城市。在这里，你可以参观紫禁城，见识

一下皇家的生活方式。你非常幸运，因为在此以前五百年间，没有任何平民能够进入紫禁

城。一直到二十世纪初期，紫禁城改称故宫，这个以前属于皇帝的庞大建筑群才开始对平

民百姓开放。故宫最初建于十五世纪初，後来经过多次修缮，今天我们所看到的建筑大多

是十八世纪的。故宫内部有九千个房间，整个地方曾被烧过几次，有些是意外，有些则是

有人蓄意纵火的。在紫禁城，皇帝做出重要的决策。所有的皇室成员都住在大大小小的房

间里，有一大群仆人照顾他们。一般的市民住在北京城的胡同里。“胡同”一字源於蒙古

话，意即“帐篷间的通道”。北京的胡同是这个城市的一大景观。它们历史悠久，构造独

特，是北京城市发展的历史见证。遗憾的是最近北京的胡同都逐渐改成高楼公寓，越来越

多的四合院在人们的惋惜声中消失了。

北京城的另一大景观是颐和园。颐和园也是一所皇家园林，是十八世纪时修建的。

园中有长达七百公尺的长廊，长廊上画有美丽的图案。千万别忘记参观天坛，看看这以前

皇帝每年向天帝祭祀的地方。如果你对近代的历史有兴趣，那就参观天安门，这是世界最

大的广场。看看庙宇，公园，忙碌的街道，当然也绝不能错过万里长城。

作为一个世界级的文化中心，北京有相当丰富的文化生活。一位 26 岁的英国服装设

计师说，北京和伦敦一样，是个令人心醉神迷的城市。在这里你可以看到形形色色的艺术

展示、发布会、沙龙，遇到一大批有才华的年轻艺术家。北京既是一个非常有活力的城市

，又有古老敦厚的一面。它的奇特魅力吸引着世界各地的人来到这里，不断地给她增添新

的活力。

遗憾的是 unfortunately

遗憾的是最近北京的胡同都逐渐改成高楼公寓。
