My name is Takashi Tsuda and I’m writing to express my interest in the Community,
Natural and Economic Development Educator as advertised on CareerBuilder.com. As I
believe my experiences and education, along with strong interest and motivation in that

future projects of UW-Extension Cooperative Extension.

I will graduate from North Dakota State University in May of 2011, with a Bachelor’s
Science with major in Natural Resources Management with an emphasis on Social Science
and a minor in Sociology. My time as a student has enhanced my knowledge and interest of
community development as a comprehensive field including natural resources management,
sociology, economic development, emergency management that will be valuable for this
position.

I have worked as an external relations assistant/interpreter for an operation team of World

Campus International, Inc, facilitating multi-cultural educational programs. I was
responsible for building sound relationships with the organization, local communities and
participants for smooth implementation of the program. The experiences developed my
communication skills and relationship building with the participants and local community
with diverse backgrounds. Also, I am very comfortable with working as a team and able to
compromise and adapt with variable environment and co-workers through my working
experiences.
