Faith for Eternity

The life I live in the body, I live by

faith in the son of God, who loved
me and gave himself for me

 What is faith? It is the confident
assurance that what we hope for
is going to happen. It is the
evidence of things we cannot yet
see.
Heb 11. 1
 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,
the author and perfecter of our
faith

 Do not think of yourself more
highly than you ought, but rather
think of yourself with sober
judgment, in accordance with the
measure of faith God has given
you.

 Instead, they were longing for a
better country—a heavenly one.
Therefore God is not ashamed to
be called their God, for he has
prepared a city for them.

Abraham did this because he was
confidently looking forward to a
city with eternal foundations, a city
designed and built by God.

 For here we do not have an
enduring city, but we are looking
for the city that is to come.

seen, but on what is unseen. For
what is seen is temporary, but
what is unseen is eternal.
