faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me Gal 2.20 What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. Heb 11. 1 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith Heb 12.2 Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Rom 12.3 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. Heb 11.16 Abraham did this because he was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God. Heb 11.10 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. Heb 13.14 Everything God has done will last forever Ecc 3.14 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
