A note on soy butter

Among various soy based foods soy butter is having a potential as a bread spread .Soy
butter will be a healthier alternative to peanut butter. It is prepared from soy nuts. We can
make either a smooth or chunky textured product as per the consumers’ choice. It has
nutty aroma and taste with no added colors or flavors. It is rich golden brown color and a
good source of omega 3 fatty acids. Low in saturated fatty acids and trans fat free. A
good source of complete protein containing significant amounts of all the essential amino
acids. It contains less than 3% moisture. The approximate proximate composition is as
