This is the third lesson for this series.

God wants us to become familiar with this book called Biblical Foundations of
Freedom: Destroying Satan’s Lies with God’s Truth by Art Mathias.
We will learn about the following:
•Release from Accusing Spirits and a Prayer

Give examples of the 3 voices:
Accusing Spirits love to ‘but’ in!
God: God has answered some of my prayers in the past, but where was
God when I needed Him today, He didn’t help me in my time of trouble!
Others to us: Yea, I do have some friends but look what Sally said today,
see, I told you that she hates me and doesn’t want to be my friend!
Us to ourselves: Yea, I know I’m a Christian and I love Jesus, but I still
don’t measure up to others, I’m still inferior to my brothers and sisters.

Accusing spirits say:
I can’t have fellowship with you and you can’t have fellowship with me
because we don’t agree on which songs we should sing in Church!

Accusing spirits say:
Why did God allow my son to get sick?
If God is so powerful, why didn’t He stop (such and such)? (insinuating
that we cannot trust Him and causing us to have an unholy fear)
God won’t help me out of my problem. All is lost, I can’t win anyway.
Hey, I’ve got a small problem compared to others – it’s no big deal.
What’s the use in asking Him for help?
I talked to Sally last week, and she complained for an hour about what
God didn’t do for her. Besides, He’s no respecter of persons, so if He
hates her, He must hate me too.
Do you recognize any of these lies?

Accusing spirits say:
Well, I don’t want to go to this church any more. I just don’t fit in.
Everybody there seems to be having a good time praising God but I just
don’t seem to fit in. Nobody really likes me there; they just ignore me.
CCC – Criticize, Condemn, Complain
GGG – Groan, Grouch, Gripe
FFF – Fret, Fume, Fuss

Pass out Prayer of Release from Accusing Spirits sheet so we see the
partial list of accusing spirits and we can write down what the Holy Spirit
may reveal at the end of the prayer time.
Let’s all pray this prayer out loud together.

At the end listen to what the Holy Spirit says about this release from
Accusing Spirits and write it down for later prayers.
Use the Prayer of Release from Accusing Spirits sheet to continue to
review any accusing spirits that may be bothering us and pray this prayer
for full release at home.
