+ VHF and UHF bands have each PLL independently, and 2 IF systems are
provided. Therefore 2 bands can be received simultaneous.
+ The received signal of VHF band is mixed with the first local oscillator signal and
‘converted into the frst IF of 21.70MHz. Then the resulting signal is mixed with the
second local ascilator signal of 21.25MHz and converted into 450kHz,
+ The received signal of UHF band is mixed withthe first local oscilator signal and
Converted into the first IF of 30.85kMHz. Then the resulting signal is mixed with
the second local oscillator signal of 30.395MHz and converted into 45SkHz.
‘The received signal from the antenna is passed through the duplexer the circuit,
consists of low-pass fit for VHF and high-pass fiter for UHF), and divided into
the signals of VHF and UMF.
After the received signal from the duplexer is passed through the band-pass fiter
via the antenna switch (05, 06), the signal is amplified at RF amplifier Q11. The
unwanted signal of the amplified signal is eliminated by the band-pass fiter
‘consisting of 3 varicaps. Next the signal is mixed with the first local oscillator
signal atthe first mixer Q12, and converted tothe fst IF. The unwanted signal is
attenuated by the crystal fiter circuit. Then the signal is fed to IC2 Pint6 atter
being amplified at IF amplifier Q7. In this 1C2 the signal is mixed with the second
cseillator signal and converted to the second IF, then itis output from Pin3. The
output signal is attenuated the unwanted signal by the ceramic fier, and input
‘again from IC2 PinS. Next the signal is passed through the limiter ampltier and,
demodulated in the quadrature detection circuit of 102 to be output from Pind as
AF signal
‘The received signal from the duplexer is passed through the antenna switch
(0208, 0207), and ampified in the RF amplifier Q211. The amplified signal is
attenuated the unwanted signal by the helical fiter L218, The signal is amplified in
F amplifier 212 and attenuated the unwanted signal again by the helical iter
219, then it is mixed with the first local oscilator signal atthe first mixer Q213 and
converted tothe frst IF, The unwanted signal is attenuated by the crystal iter
Circuit. Then the signal is fed to 10202 Pint6 alter being amplied at IF ampitior
2214, In this C202 the signal is mixed with the second oscilator signal and
converted to the second IF, then its output from Pin3. The output signal is
attenuated the unwanted signal by the ceramic ite, and input again from 1C202
PinS. Next the signal is passed through the limiter amplifier and demodulated in
the quadrature detection circuit of 10202 to be output from Pind as AF signal2. $ (Signal) Meter Circuit
