Abstract
Politics is a very interesting topic and when speaking about political parties and
affiliations, politics can become a very heated topic. In this paper, my data will be examining a
person’s political outlook or position based on their marital status. My controlling factor through
the paper will be race – both White and Black respondents. I will show that a person’s political
affiliation may be affected backed on their marital status in society. Moreover, I will show that a
person’s race can also affected one’s political affiliation and marital status. Lastly, I hope to
show that people’s political outlook in the United States is affected by either their race or marital
status.
