Instruction/ Guided Practice:
Monday
The s will learn that some things are living and some things are not.
Discuss that living means “alive” and non living means “not alive”.
S will look at pictures of living and non living things and describe characteristics of both.
T and S will classify living and non living things by creating T chart.
S will complete pg. 67 in Science Activity book.

Tuesday
No School

Wednesday
Review living and non living things.
S will look at BB of Science pg.71 to identify living and non living.
T Will use transparency 2 to make a chart of living and non living things from the BB.
S will complete pg. 68.

Thursday
T and S will make a comparison between stuffed animal and a person through an experiment pg.323 HOS.
S will complete pg. 324 HOS.

Friday
Students will review living and non living things.
