½ c AVR MICROCONTROLLER x
It is a 40-pin atmega 32 / atmega ½ microcontroller It is the brain of the system Atmega
32/½ is interfaced with zigbee transmitter & also with the alphanumeric keypad It
coordinates all the operations at transmitter & receiver section All the system is mainly
dependent upon atmega 32 microcontroller It is superior than 805½ which is normally
used
2 c MAX 232 x
These parts are especially useful in battery powered systems since their low power shut
down mode reduces power dissipation to less than 5 microwatt The max 232 use no
external components and are recommended for application where 2CBs space is critical
3 c iIGBEE MODULE x
iigBee is a wireless technology developed as an open global standard to address the
unique needs of low-cost, low-power, wireless sensor networks The standard takes full
advantage of the IEEE 802 ½5 4 physical radio specification and operates in unlicensed
bands worldwide at the following frequenciesx 2 400±2 484 GHz, 902-928 MHz and
88 0±88 MHz
4 c LCD x
We are using a simple ½ x 2 LCD Text entered at the transmitting side using 2C
interface is displayed on LCD at receiving end
This project makes use of the most latest zigbee Modules as the transmitter and the receiver,
