Member Altamount Rd That SVNIT campus provides a healthy environment to our students is made amply clear by grabbing of medals in
Mumbai 400026 (MS) sports events at all-India levels including basket ball, volleyball, football, athletic and swimming championships. A tally
of over 19 medals will prove this point. The crowning glory will be when one of our students will be asked to don the

Probably when majority of you were in the college, post graduation was a distant dream and PhD through research was
a mirage. Now, it is stark reality. Over 293 students have registered themselves as PG students in over 15 different
specializations. A total of 223 research candidates are burning The SVNIT candles past midnight to complete their PhD
work. Nine fellows have been bestowed with the PhD degree and 15 are waiting in the wings as their thesis reports are
expected.

All these developments have a stamp of quality as SVNIT family scored 9.5 on a scale of 10 during its last TEQIP audit.
Our institute has also been provided with funds to the tune of over 4 crores under recurring grant and over 142 cores in
non-recurring plan.

The success has come in all the possible ways as it is ranked 22nd among the 25 most sought out engineering colleges
as per the survey conducted by the India Today.
