 Safety Recognition Program
 EMS Employees will be Recognized for their Contribution to a
Safe Operation According to the Following Schedule
 Class I – 30 Credits – Front Line Field Employees
 Class II – 15 Credits - Management Supervisory & Office
Employees
 Program Elements

 Employee Clusters are Established at Local Work Locations

to Foster A Spirit of Friendly Competition
 EMS Managers and Supervisors along with the local Safety
Coordinators and Safety Representatives shall organize the
individual site clusters. No cluster shall be smaller than 10
employees. Sites that do not have 10 employees shall form
a cluster group with an adjacent site which performs similar
activities.
 Credits are Awarded on an Annual Basis

 If no Recordable Injury or Preventable Vehicle Event

in a Calendar Year within a Group, Additional Credits
– 50% will be Awarded
 Recipients will have the Option to Save their Awards
Credits into the Following Year of the two Year Cycle
in Order to Receive an Award of Greater Value
 The Award Selection List will be items that may be
Utilized on the Job and Serve as a Reminder to
Promote Safety
 Individual Safety Achievement Spot Awards ($25
Gift Cards ) can be made by a GM + Throughout the
Cycle for an Outstanding Accomplishment

member in the local employee cluster will be given a
$25.00 EMS Debit Card
 Overall Employee Safety Incentive Program

 Potential of receiving a total of $50.00 on an EMS

 Safety Incentive Gift – Selected by Employee

 At the end of the 2 year cycle one employee cluster
group with no recordable events will be selected by
random drawing and a $20,000 award will be split
among the group
