Rok –Tok

(The JAM session)

Rok-Tok is a JAM (Just A Minute) session wherein contestants will need to speak for
one minute on the given topic while following the given constraints. Participants will be
grouped in small batches so that in a batch at a time there will be one speaker and other
participants in a batch. Whenever the speaker crosses any given constraint, other participants
can raise objection (JAM) with appropriate reasoning. If the objection is correct, speaker’s
marks will be deducted and if objection is wrong, speaker will be awarded extra marks. The
decision on objection will be given by judge sitting there.

The constraints may vary from no stammering to speaking a tongue twister each time
a sentence is spoken etc. Contestants will be judged on the basis of number of seconds
spoken.
