ATTITUDES AND ATTRIBUTES OF ADOLESCENTS

1. A SEQUENTIAL REALITY TESTING DEFECT:


(The limited ability to see how one thing leads to another - how one's
current situation is the result of choices made earlier in life).
2. A SELF OBSERVING EGO FUNCTION DISORDER:
(The limited ability to see one's role in or contribution to a particular
circumstance).
3. A DYSFUNCTIONAL SELF ACTUALIZATION PROCESS:
(The limited ability to allow and encourage one’s self to progress toward
one's potential - to become what one can become).
4. A “SELF-AS-CENTER” SYNDROME:
(The tendency to view one’s self as the center of the universe, around
whom all things revolve).
5. RECURRENT IDENTITY AMNESIA:
(The limited ability to recognize and internalize the divine and mortal
heritage we each have, thereby knowing "who we are").
6. ACUTE CONSUMPTIVE ORIENTATION:
(The tendency to show more concern and attention to what we might
receive from others rather than what we might produce or contribute for
others).
7. AN EXAGGERATED SENSE OF INDESTRUCTIBILITY:
(The tendency to disregard one's mortality, leading to the belief that
natural consequences resulting from poor choices will never happen to
me).
8. AN ANTI AUTHORITY ACTIVIST ATTITUDE:
(The tendency to view those in legitimate leadership over me with
suspicion and disrespect in varying degrees of severity).
9. AN UNACKNOWLEDGED DEPENDENT INDEPENDENCE:
(The limited ability to see one's need for others in life while supposing one
should be totally free of input from those who would help them).
10. A MINIMAL EXPERIENCE AWARENESS REPOSITORY:
(The limited ability to recall and learn from the past because of fewer
experience opportunities, due to age and personal circumstances).
