VERBS
~ A verb tells us what a person or thing does.
. e.g.: He walks. She runs. He jumps. He cuts wood.
I eat He eats.
We eat. She eats.
You eat. It eats.
They eat.
~ we drop ‘s’ from the second verb after the verb ‘does’.
e.g.: Does he speak?
He does.
He does speak.
He speaks.
But, he does not speak.
2. Verbs of Doing.
~ is the verb that tells what they are doing.
e.g.: What is he doing? He is standing.
What is she doing? She is dancing.
3. Verbs of Being.
~ is the words of ‘am’, ‘are’, ‘is’ that help us complete the meaning of what we say.
~ They are called auxiliary verbs.
I am.
We are.
You are.
They are.
He is.
She is.
It is.

e.g.:
I do not like fish.
We do not fight.
You do not play.
They do their training in school.
He does not run
She does not cry.
It does not bark.

5. Verbs of Possession.
~is the word of ‘have’ and ‘has’ that show ownership.

e.g.:
I have a watch. Have I? You have.
We have a house. Have we? You have.
You have a brush. Have you? I have.
They have new shoes. Have they? They have.
He has a knife. Has he? He has.
She has a book. Has she? She has.
It has sharp teeth. Has it? It has.
