How to Upgrade the F/W 

1  Remove the AC power from set by unplugging the AC power cord.  

2  The USB reader slot is located on the left or right side of the cabinet near the side control / jack assembly 
as shown in Figure 1.

3  Insert the “USB thumb Drive” into the USB slot as shown in Figure 2.

4  Plug the TV back into AC power.  

5 Turn the TV ON by pressing the power button on the side of the TV or by using the power button on the 
remote control. 

6 Software upgrade will be started automatically as shown Figure 3. During this time, do not remove power 
to the television or press any remote keys or buttons on the television until the upgrade is complete! 
Doing so may cause the TV to stop working!

7 Upon completion of the software upgrade a message will be displayed on the screen indicating, 
“Upgrading is ended” and the progress bar reached 100% as shown in Figure 4.

8 Remove the “USB Thumb Drive” from the reader slot. Momentarily remove the AC power from the set by 
unplugging the AC power cord. Plug the TV back into the AC power. The TV should turn back on. 

9 The TV upgrade is now complete.
