INDICTMENT

COUNT ONE

The Grand Jury for the District of Maryland charges that:

On or about September II, 20 I0, in the District of Maryland, the defendant,

WILLIE RAY BRYANT,

knowingly and willfully did cause to be deposited in an authorized depository for mail matter and

cause to be delivered by the Postal Service, a communication addressed to William D. Quarles,

Jr., United States District Judge for the District of Maryland, and containing a threat to injure

him with a mailed explosive device.

COUNT TWO

The Grand Jury for the District of Maryland further charges that:

On or about October 12, 20 I0, in the District of Maryland, the defendant,

WILLIE RAY BRYANT,

did knowingly and willfully deposit for conveyance in the mail and for delivery from a post

office and by a letter carrier a letter containing a threat to take the life of and to inflict bodily

harm upon the President of the United States, specifically, the statement "I just hope Allah grants

me the opportunity to be the one who chops off your head," and the words "die die die!!!"

followed by the sentence "If I ever ever get out I promise you I'm coming after you."
