Image below is for the 2 meter CP

Assemble boom, then insert element rods in decending order of length. Be careful not to mix
up the rods from one package with that of the other (two packages of rods are provided)
Keep them seperate and line them up along a straight object in order to see their decending
lengths. The longest is the reflector and goes into the most rearward hole, then the driven
element etc. The boom holes will be marked Rv, DEv, Rh, DEh.
The 3/8" element mounting blocks mount through the double holes in the boom. The block
can be mounted in either direction, while the length of individual blocks many vary, the
holes are symetrical so there is no front or rear. Study the illustration above in order to see
how the T matches mount and the balun cables are placed. Also refer to the illustrations on
the product pages on this web site. The 1/4" dia. driven element is uses a 5/8" square block
with a set screw. The screw head goes towards the front of the antenna on both the two
meter and 70CM units and the thinner part of the block (the hole is drilled closer to one
edge) butts against the boom. If you mount this block with the thicker section butting against
the boom then the shorting bars will not fit.

Set shorting bars as shown below

2 Meter 5x5 - 3 3/8"
70CM 8x8 and 16x16 - all the way out as far as they can go

more will be added to this page for the polarity reversing units
