ACKNOLEDGEMENT

I really pleased to present the basic Industrial Training (BIP)

report end of the first training. During my basic Industrial Training period,
I have gained more practical experience and knowledge on Civil
Engineering construction at International Construction Consortium and
State Engineering Corporation.
First of all, I offer my propound gratitude to the
management of the “National Apprentice industrial training
Authority” who introduced the course of National Diploma in
Engineering Sciences at Institute of Engineering Technology.
I would like to offer my thanks to the principal,
deputy principal. Head of the departments and all the academic and
non academic staff Industrial training division of Institute of
Engineering Technology, Katunayake. Who help me to find best
places for my training organization. As well as I would like to
thanks to academic staff of the department of civil engineering for
given me theoretical knowledge. Special thanks for
Mr.L.J.Chandrasekara (Deputy Principle), Mr.Rajakaruna (Head of
Department of Civil Engineering Industrial Training) for organizing a
valuable and effective training for us.

My special thanks to project managers, Engineers, and all the staff

at International Construction Consortium and State Engineering
Corporation.
I must thanks to all the site staff of ICC with Mr.Deepthi Liyanage (Project
Manager), Mr.Themiya Bandara (Site Engineer), and Mr. (Civil
Superintendent), Mr.K.M.R.Susantha (Store Keeper), Mr.K.W.W.Sanjeewa
(Supervisor), Mr. G.D.S.Thushara (Clerk) as well as all trainees. I
appreciate their encouragement to success my training period.
