    The human heart is a muscular organ about the size of a fist. With each beat of the heart,
    oxygen-containing blood pumps to cells throughout the body. The heart contains four
    hollow chambers that act as temporary storage boxes for blood. The right atrium and left
    atrium fill with blood from elsewhere in the body. The left ventricle and right ventricle
    collect blood before pumping it out to other parts of the body.
