this is almost a repeat of SPC recommended scales. what did the COS?
Have they not changed the band pay and grade pay?
Please look into it and put up the correct one.
As per the new that came in COS had increased the garde pay atleast over 12% that of
SPC recommendations.

As per the press release, there are some minor cnhanges there in pay band and grade pay. Pay band PB-1 & PB-2 are enhanced, there is no
change in PB-3, but PB-4 is reduced. Some cosmatic changes are there in grade pay also. The measure change is increase in fitment formula to
1.86 insteed of 1.74. Scale S-24 to S-27 are now put in PB-4 and S-15 now upgraded to PB-3.

There are 4 pay bands and 20 grade pays only. Grade pay will define the pay scale or seniority.

2.THE PRESS RELEASE ITSELF SAYS THAT THE APPROVAL AMOUNT IS 11000 CRORE MORE THAN THE RECOMMENDATION
OF SPC.
CAN THE SHIFTING OF S-24 TO S-27 TO PB-4 CAN COST THAT MUCH?
the scale recommended and approved for sci/engr.SF is 37400 with agrade pay of 9000(PB-4)
the difference between sci/engr SE and Sci/engr SF works out to be (37400-22320) 15080.
how does it justified? THESE TWO SCALES ARE ADJACENT IN MOST OF THE DEPARTMENTS.

Can somebody modify the pay calculator based on the changes approved by the cabinet in respect of shifting of 14300/- scale into payband-4
(37400 payband). Similerly some of the payband 2 scales have been pushed into payband-3

In isro,drdo and dae :
the scale recommended and approved for sci/engr.SE is (12000*1.86=22320)22320 with a grade pay of 6600
the scale recommended and approved for sci/engr.SF is 37400 with agrade pay of 9000(PB-4)

Dear selvaraj61,
There is a handsome jump when one enters in PB-4, previously also this jump was there for Scientist G or equivalent grade or above ( scale -29
18400 -22400), and S-28 scale 14300 - 22400 were also in PB-4. Therefore there was a anomoly in S-24 to S-27, if there pre revised salary was
more than the S-28, then also they were getting less revised salary than S-28. This anomoly has been ractified by shifting the S-24 to S-28 in
PB-4 as already given in the press release. You are right this scales are applicable for Scientist -E and Scientis- F in ISRO and DRDO and
Scientific officer-F and scientific officer-G in DAE, DIGS, superindenting engr, Directors, additional commissioners of income tax, central
excise and equivalent. The grade pay for defence officers has been enhanced and this is alraedy published in The Telegraph - Calcutta (Kolkata)
Nation Defence pay concerns ‘addressed on 14 August, 2008. The similar grade pay shall be applicable for civilian officers for corrosponding
scales. Since the grade pay is enhanced in PB-4, therefore lower limit pay band PB-4 is reduced to 37400-67000 insteed of 39200-67000. For
PB-3 there is no change.

Dear
where did you get ait all from? Pl dont spread rumors. We are all tired of rumors. Following points will prove that they are all fakes
1. Grade pay is a symbol of status, so GP of S3 being more than that of S4 & S5 looks undigestable even with "hajmola"
2. Total no of Gp accepted are just 20 you have proposed 21
So pl dont spread rumors at this stage
