Multivariate statistical analysis is often desirable as people can
hypothesize that a given outcome of interest is affected or influenced by
more than one thing. The worlds of the researcher and the practitioner,
and the respective challenges faced by them, are inherently different. For
practitioners, the focus is often on specific problems that must be solved
in short run. For researchers, the focus is usually on general issues that
might define a field of study through disparate sets of ideas and findings.
Such efforts usually contribute in theory-building research. In view of
the above, researchers and practitioners are invited to attend the
workshop as it will provide a forum in which they can have an experience
on the on the problems in which research could help.
About Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, is also popularly known as the
"Temple City of India". Being the seat of 'Lord Lingaraj', Bhubaneswar is
an important Hindu pilgrimage centre. Hundreds of temples including
Raja Rani and Mahavir Jain temple, Dhauligiri, the caves of Khandagiri,
Udayagiri and Ratnagiri dot the landscape of the Old Town, which once
boasted of more than 2000 temples. Bhubaneswar is the place where

Puri Jagannath temple and Konark Sun temple surround the periphery of
the temple city of Bhubaneswar. Bhubaneswar, Konark and Jagannath
Puri constitute the Golden triangle of Odisha, visited in large numbers by
pilgrims and tourists.
About IIT Bhubaneswar
Rising from the horizon, sunrays falls onto the silver plated letters and
reflects to the blue board engraved in white letters it reads as “Indian
Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar” and behind that stands the
academic building. The institute was established on July 22, 2008 under
the mentorship of IIT Kharagpur. Exactly a year later the institute started
functioning at the temporary campus of IIT Bhubaneswar in
Samantapuri, Bhubaneswar. This fact itself charges the Institute not only
to be worthy of its inheritance but also to be distinctive and distinguished
on its own by scripting a path towards novelties. Within this short span of
time the institute has grown significantly in every field. No stone is being
left unturned to provide to make IIT Bhubaneswar a promising institute
of the future. The Institute has fully fledged facilities for academic
endeavors and the institution ensures the complete academic
environment in all regard. Slowly and gradually, IIT Bhubaneswar is
pacing its way to the state of success and utopia.
