    The Department of Business Administration under the School of Management Studies (DBA-SMS),
    Assam University started functioning in 1997. The department has made remarkable strides during the
    last one decade and successfully emerged as one of the premier institutions of management studies in
    the North East India.

    The Master of Business Administration, flagship programme of the department is a two year fulltime
    programme aimed at equipping the students with a comprehensive set of skills and in-depth
    understanding of theory and practice of real life management. As per the MBA curriculum, all students, at
    the end of 2nd semester have to compulsorily undergo a summer training of minimum 8(eight) weeks
    duration (in May & June every year) under the supervision of a mentor as appointed by the industrial,
    business or service organization and they have to submit complete summer training project report to the
    department for evaluation.

    It is in this context we request you to kindly extend your generous help by considering the following three
    students (CV attached) of the department as summer trainee in your organization. The MBA 2nd Semester
    Examination will be over by last week of April 2011 and the students would be ready to join the
    organization by 1st week of May 2011.

    The specific features pertaining to summer internship of MBA students are enclosed for your kind perusal
