DESCRIPTION
Position: - Officer Purchase Buyer

SCOPE

Officer Purchase Buyer - Will be responsible for Imports & Local purchase for SU.
In this position she/he will report to the Distribution Manager of SMC - India & will be based in Pane.

Key responsibilities include:

• Import Purchase :
• Order placement ,
• Shipment tracking till dispatch from origin
• Support to Import team
• Local Operation Buying : Order placement & regularization
• System 21 :
• GRN for local purchases for SU
• Custom Duty Booking : Support to SU Finance to expedite the payment cycle in view of uninterrupted of Import clearance flow.
• Import Invoice Booking :Support to SU Finance for supplier payment
• Monthly GIT report : Submission of accurate GIT Report for import buying
• Training to segment people to standardize and streamline the process of buying, stock receipt and payment.

Additional responsibility
• Sales Tax :
• Tracking of F Forms for all warehouses
• Coordination for Monthly Vat returns with the Sales Tax Consultants at all locations

• DH 150 Procurement & Inventory Management ( New Project – After Market )


• Vendor Master creation in System
• Material Availability check and Order Placement,
• Tracking of material till it reaches warehouse
• Assistance to Export Team for execution of Export Order
• Support to segment
• Coordination with segment, Inventory manager for appropriate inventory level and achieving the targeted fill rate.
