no mixing of HP stripper vapour
with Reactor vapour. In this
process equipments operates in
such a way it automatically
maintain differential pressure for
flow of gas.
Since process flow is very simple
so trouble shooting can be
handling very easy.
In my view this process use
Ammonia as stripping media and
complete cycle of process solution
have rich ammonia, Due to basic
nature of ammonia there is less
corrosion in Snamprogettie
process. That why it is possible to
hold reactor in filled condition for
24 to 36 hrs.
STEMICARBON PROCESS TEC PROCESS
Because of intermixing of Same as Stamicarbon.
vapour HP stripper with
reactor, Operator has to
concentrate to maintain
stripper and reactor pressure
for proper flow.
In this process there is as
important part is Reactor For synthesis section same as
level, disturbance in level will Stamicarbon.
cause the bypassing of
unconverted solution which
limit the d/s section.
There is complex recycling,
So it may possible that
difference may cause plant
shutdown.
In this process Urea solution
form LP separator collects in
Urea solution tank, which
further deliver to vacuum
section with the help of urea
melt pump. This is my
assumption that this will
increase Biuret. And this may
be one reason which limits
the plant production in case
of minor disturbance in d/s
section.
Not have much experience
but since this process have
CO2 as stripping media and
Unreached CO2 having high
corrosion nature. But both
process use proper MOC so I
am not very much sure about
the corrosion rate.
