1. New Comprehensive Rural Credit Scheme(NCRCS)


Objective is to provide working capital requirement of small farmers
• Short term production loans
• Production of seeds and plant material
• Purchase of agricultural commodities under forward sales contracts

1. Krushi navodaya credit programme


Provision of medium term loans for activities in agriculture and animal husbandry
including agro related industry and micro and drip irrigation.

2. Second Perennial Crops Development Project(SPCDP)


Commercialization of Perennial Crop sector, increasing production, nursery
development, post harvest handling and processing activities and marketing

3. Tea Development Project(Revolving Fund) – (TDP-RF)


Increase tea small holders’ income on a sustainable basis and develop the necessary
infrastructure required for meeting the requirements of export market. In this connection,
assistance is available basically to modernize tea factories to acquire HACCP
certification.

4. Agro-Livestock Development Loan Scheme(ALDL)


Provision of financial facilities to enhance local liquid milk production and promote milk
and milk based products and agricultural crop processing industries.

5. Susahana Loan Scheme


To assist Tsunami affected small and medium scale enterprises for resumption of their
businesses.

6. Poverty Alleviation Micro Finance Project Loan Scheme(PAMP)


Objective is to upliftment of low income earners’ living standards through providing of
financing for their income generating activities. For this more women’s participation
expected. Loan facilities are considered for mainly the under mentioned income
generating activities.

1. Small Farmers and Landless Credit Project(SFLCP)
The objective of the project was to test the effectiveness of delivery of credit and
financial services to rural poor people to enable them to improve their living conditions
by undertaking such activities as income-generating off-farm enterprises. The project
supported rural credit, training and community development, and it provided technical
assistance and management support. It helped rural poor people form groups and train
members, with the aim of developing local institutions.
