2 while back I went to the movies to watch the

movie Clash of the Titans. The movie awoke an
interest in me about Greek Mythology. I started
to do research on the subject and found it to be
fascinating. So I chose the Greek gods as my
topic for this work. I will be presenting a
synopsis about eight of the most important
gods in Greek Mythology.

2 Gaea is the Earth goddess. Gaea, or Mother

Earth, was the great goddess of the early
Greeks. She represented the Earth and was
worshipped as the universal mother. In Greek
mythology, she created the Universe and gave
birth to both the first race of gods (the Titans)
and the first humans. From Gaea also came
the mountains, plains, seas and rivers that
make up the Earth as we know it today.
