Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Riverhead Central Schoo! District is the authorized agency responsible for setting
educational policy in the district. It consists of seven members. They serve three-year
terms. They support school taxes at the regular rate and receive no salary or other
financial compensation.
The meetings, except for executive sessions, are held before the public.
The Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District will hold a special
meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the Aquebogue Elementary School
Faculty Room (Room 2), Main Road, Aquebogue, New York. After the meeting is
opened to the public, the Board will immediately recess to executive session until
approximately 7:00 p.m. at which time they will reconvene into open session in the
‘Aquebogue Elementary School Cafeteria, Main Road, Aquebogue, New York. The
preliminary 2011-2012 budget will be presented.

Il. ITEMS FOR ACTION
A. Approval of Revised Proposition for Placement on Ballot - May 17, 2011
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
approves the following revised proposition for placement on the ballot for the
May 17, 2011 School Budget Vote and Election of Board Members:
“Shall the Board of Education in accordance with General Municipal Law §6-d be
authorized to fund the previously established Repair Reserve Fund with up to
$3,000,000 of unreserved, undesignated fund balance from the 2010-2011 fiscal year,
and thereafter, by budgetary appropriation and/or application of unreserved,
undesignated fund balance, or donations?”AGENDA: March 29, 2011 Page 2
B. Approval of Overnight Field Trip
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
approves the field trip request of Elizabeth Scaduto, Director of ESL, for one (1) student
to participate in the Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute, sponsored by Easter Suffolk
BOCES and Western Suffolk BOCES, on April 2-4, 2011 in Albany, New York, at no
cost to the district.
C. Approval of Amendment to Agreement
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
hereby approves an amendment to the Agreement between the Riverhead Central
School District and Complete Rehabilitation Consultants, Inc. to increase the present
limit of $50,000 for the provision of related services for its students with handicapping
conditions, effective July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 to a cost not to exceed $70,000, with
the additional $20,000 being paid from federal funds.
D. Acceptance of Donations
1.) RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
hereby accepts the donation from Festival Fun Parks, LLC (Splish Splash) in the
amount of $10.00 for the Riverhead High School.
2.) RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
hereby accepts the donation from the Riverhead Faculty and Community Theatre
(RFCT) of three (3) new Shure Microphones to the Riverhead High School.
3.) RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
hereby accepts the donation from the Phillips Avenue PTO in the amount of $3,000 for
transportation for the 4" grade New York City trip on June 13, 2011
