Sociology is about social interactions.

Political sociology = ¹the sociology that pays special attention to the interaction between
political power, institutions, processes and events and social relations.

= ²the political science that attends in particular to the impact of social

relations on political power, institutions, processes and events.

= ³the study of the relationship between society and politics and the dynamic
associations among and between:
1) the social origins of politics;

2) the structure of politics or the political processes;

3) the effects of politics on the surrounding society and culture.

Political conflicts, political power, social groups (the political party, NGOs), political
behaviours, political ideas.

Politics is all about political power and is a very subjective concept, as well as highly
conservative.

Polity is a form of civil administration or of an organized society.
