GUNSHOT WOUND TYPES

• PENETRATING WOUND:
Which only have an
entrance wound.
• PERFORATING
WOUND:
Which have both exit and
entrance wound.
RESEARCH ON GUNSHOT WOUNDS

When accessing the severity of gunshot


wounds, there are numerous variables
which include the following:
• Type of weapon
• Caliber of the weapon
• Design of the bullet
• Site of the injury
• Numbers of wounds inflicted
STAB

The thrust of a
pointed weapon.
An injury inflicted
covertly or suddenly
as a stab given to
character.
STAB

A stabbing is the penetration with a


sharp or pointed object at close range.
Stab connotes purpseful action, as by
an assassin or murderrer, but it also
possible to accedentally stab oneself or
others.
Stabbing differs from slashing or
cutting in that the motion of the object
used in stabbing generally moves
perpendicular to and directly into the
victim’s body.
