Dudley Throws Up

Bricks in Bid
for Governor:
The DUD’s plan to cut & privatize services
plagued by: fouls, bad positions, turnovers
and poor shooting.

CUT SERVICES: Dudley proposes to cut essential DHS services to families, children, seniors, and
people with disabilities, which would destroy the health of our communities and increase the burden
on Oregonians during times of rising and chronic unemployment.

PRIVATIZE SERVICES: Dudley will look to privatize all remaining services that don’t get cut,
decimating public services and drastically reducing quality service delivery & government accountabil-
ity, and increasing long term costs.

JOB & UNION SECURITY: Cutting and privatizing services will result in massive lay-offs, weaken-
ing of collective bargaining and the labor movement; putting jobs, wages and union rights in jeopardy.
This is in addition to Dudley’s proposals to reduce public employee benefits & compensation.

DIRECTORS & MANAGERS: Dudley will appoint Directors and top managers that align with his
plans to slash & privatize services. This puts quality Directors and managers, like DHS’ Dr. Goldberg,
who care about services and Oregon, at risk for termination.

LOWER MINIMUM WAGE: Dudley thinks workers, who are barely scraping by on $17,680/year,
should take a pay cut and make less than $8.50/hr. The minimum wage is already not a living wage,
this proposal only punishes hard working Oregonians and widens social and economic inequalities.

SERVING ONLY THE WEALTHY: Dudley believes giving corporations and the wealthy $800
million in tax cuts will raise more revenue. However, this only serves the rich and sells out the mid-
dle and working class by reducing revenue for education, public safety and other essential services.

QUALITY OF LIFE: Dudley wants to destroy public sector services, lower wages & benefits for
workers, and increase the wealth of the rich. This will bring chaos to our streets, our jobs and our
homes, lowering the quality of life and well-being of all Oregonians.

WE WIN BY SUPPORTING KITZHABER FOR GOVERNOR!

This time, voting won’t be enough. We must engage in voter contact: hitting
the phones & doors for John Kitzhaber. Otherwise, we’ll be facing gigantic
problems at the bargaining table, in our worksites, and in our communities.
