TYPE OF INCIDENT: Felonious Assault/Domestic Violence

DATE: 4/23/2011 TIME: 1104 PM DAY OF WEEK: Saturday

LOCATION: 3500 block of Beech Drive, Pittsfield Township

COMPLAINT NUMBER: 11-3968

INFORMATION: On the above date and time, Pittsfield officers responded to the above area for a
report of two brothers fighting and one was armed with a knife. Upon arrival, the brothers had
stopped fighting and both had sustained injury from the altercation. Both male subjects were
transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for treatment, with the victim having sustained injury from
being cut with a knife. Investigation revealed that the suspect's wife had also been physically
assaulted during this incident and did not sustain any injury. After the suspect was treated for his
injuries, he was lodged at the Washtenaw County Jail.

INJURIES: Victim had moderate injury/suspect had minor injury

ARRESTED: 50-year-old Pittsfield Township resident
