Module 1 Introduction

Description :
This module starts with the Introduction of the RSView32 software and different available versions of this SCADA
software. Editing & Configuring Communications and DDE relationship between RSLinx and RSView32 will be discussed.
Students will learn how to take the data from PLC to excel. Editing & creating the Tag Database and the Tag Monitor files
will be taken in detail. Very useful tool, Command Line, will also be discusses in this module. Configure the Activity Log
file to monitor the different system activities on the RSView32 Station.

Module 2 Introduction

Description :
Students will learn how to use the different drawing tools available in RSView32 to edit & create the Graphic Displays for
their plant applications. They will also learn how to select multiple objects, group them, resize them, and change their
attributes. How to modify & add Animation to the existing graphic displays will also be discussed in detail. Students will
learn how to edit & create Derived Tag files.

Module 3 Introduction

Description :
Edit & Create Macros and Symbols to create shortcuts for different procedures and methods. Students will learn how to edit
and configure Alarms to monitor and control different critical conditions in the plant. Edit and Configure Events to take
some action based on different conditions. Learn how to edit and configure the different Keys for predefined functions.
Recipes will be discusses in detail for batch processes.

Module 4 Introduction

Description :
In this module, students will learn how to create reusable graphics using Parameter Files. They will also learn how to edit &
configure data logger models to log important production data. Real time and historical Trends will be edited and configured
to plot the data in graphical form. Learn how to secure the RSView32 station using the high level Security System. Running
a Project using the different startup tools and other options will also be discussed.
