The South Central Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross Announces Upcoming Blood Drives

Friday, April 29, 2011


This blood drive will take place at the Allegiance Health Anderson Building’s Auditorium, located at 201
North East Street in Jackson, MI 49201. The blood drive will last from 10:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Cookies
will be available for all donors.

Monday, May 2, 2011


This blood drive will be located at Jackson Christian High School (4200 Lowe Road, Jackson, MI 49203).
It will take place from 12:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. This blood drive will only accept blood, not platelets or
double red cell donations.

Tuesday, May 3, 2011


New Jerusalem Christian Church will be hosting this blood drive from 1:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. The church
is located at 14977 Harper Road in Somerset, MI 49281. Blood and double red cell donations are wel-
come.

Wednesday, May 4, 2011


This blood drive will take place at Grass Lake United Methodist Church, located at 449 E. Michigan
Avenue in Grass Lake, MI 49240. Chili will be served to all donors; free t-shirts will be available for all
donors upon completion of the blood drive, which lasts from 12:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Donors are welcome at any time throughout the listed blood drive hours. All who meet eligibility requirements
are invited to donate blood. To donate blood, individuals must be seventeen years of age (sixteen with paren-
tal permission), weigh 110 pounds or more while meeting specific weight and height requirements, and be in
generally good health. Donors must bring their Red Cross blood donor card or another form of identification
with them.
