Have you done the following settings

If you have set the billing plan type then is it of Periodic type, or Monthly or
any other types. Have you defined the billing plan lines based on the above.
In every plan line have you defined the BILLING PLAN DATE or PERIOD- this assign
ment is a must.
Is the date profile assigned to your BILLING ITEM CATEGORY containing the DURATI
ON and DATE TYPE assigned to the BILLING PLAN LINE.
BILLING LINE Item is a SUB item and not the main item to your item category.
You should create a PLAN ITEM CATEGORY and to this your BILLING PLAN TYPE should
be assigned. You need not assign the BILLING PLAN TYPE to your TRANSACTION TYPE
.
HAVE you maintained the ITEM CATEGORY DETERMINATION with FLOW TYPE as the ITEM U
SAGE and ITEM CATEGORY as the leading item category and main item category as yo
ur BILLING ITEM CATEGORY.
for e.g.
ZSCD PDP Service contract LEIS SERV Service Billing Plan ZSCN Serv contract_serv
FAPF Bill.Req.Item Rel.
Please do the above and you will see the BILLING PLAN ITEM at the item level.

Please implement note 1506679
Additionally please check your protocol related settings as follows.
The reason for this problem is usually the switch HTTP - HTTPS or
problem with domain relaxation.
Information about this is can be found in the documentation in path
SPRO -- CRM -- Product configuration -- Define URLs
and also in note 974260 ( note set for CRM 510 but recommendations in
the note are valid for later releases too)
In case you start the Web UI in HTTP
-- XCM Paremeter SSLEnabled mentioned in note 974260 must be false
-- URL for product configuration defined in customizing (SPRO -> CRM->
Basic Functions -> Configuration Engine -> Define URL's ) must start
with http and the port must be the HTTP port
-- The fully qualified domain must be added to the URL( only host name
is not enough)
