This artifact is a screenshot of our cohort͛s Google group page. This is an online group created
by a classmate that allows my peers and I to post material and share information about our
experiences. I have personally uploaded lessons and borrowed lessons from others in order to
grow as an educator.

This group utilizes technology to not only post information, but to learn new ways to teach
materials to students. This site also allows me to be more efficient while planning and limits
the amount of time I spend researching topics. I can also easily communicate with my peers
about their lessons and experiences with content. This forum also allows teachers to share
materials without fear of illegally using other materials

  

    


In our technologically-based world, it is easy to fall behind the newest trends and ideas, or
forget the old ones. By using a forum or group such as the one in the artifact, I can ensure that
I am up-to-date with my practices and materials. I have also recognized the importance of
keeping in touch with other teachers (or future teachers in our case). As teachers, we become
scattered throughout the country and even the world. The more that we all communicate, the
more ideas and information we can pass to one another. I plan on continuing my
development through sites like this one.
