HOW TO CREATE ANIMATED


TRANSITIONS ON POWERPOINT (MAC)
Calia Minasian offers advice on creating animated transitions when using PowerPoint from
a Mac.

1. Open PowerPoint and click the transitions


option in the middle.
2. There will be several animated transition
options. If you scroll to the right you will see
even more.
3. Hovering your mouse over the individual
transitions will give you a preview of what
they look like.
4. By clicking on options on the far left, you
can create a transition sound
5. You can also adjust the speed to the
transition sound you have selected by
clicking on the transition speed box
6. Below the transition speeds/sounds the
“advance slide” section will allow you to
either transition the slides according the
click of your mouse, or at a specific time.
7. To create a custom animation, click the
third tab in the toolbox (the picture of the
star). You can get more specific by adding
effects to your individual texts, or entrance
of images.
