VIDEOS INTO POWERPOINT

There are many ways to embed videos into power

point presentations. One approach is to download
the Youtube Wizard Plug-
In:(http://skp.mvps.org/youtube.htm), which will
add a new “Insert Youtube Video” command to
the toolbar. While the above solution works great, it
requires live streaming. I find the following approach
more reliable:

1. Use a file converter to save your video. I

prefer mediaconverter.org because it
supports in-browser conversion.
2. Select “Enter a link” and paste the URL.
3. Select “Go to the next step” and select a
.WMV or .AVI output file type. !
4. Select “OK” then “Start.” Once your video
has been converted, select the “download”
link at the lower right of the box to save it to
your computer.
5. Open PowerPoint. Under the “Insert” tab
select “Movie”! and then “Movie from
File.” Select your downloaded file and your
video will be embedded into the slide! This
way, playback is 100% reliable.
