LOGOS KELVIN OLA-AYOADE

The logos found use similar element of colour and

form. Most of them bare and image of a jazz
instrument or a recognisable music note. I want to
create a logo that subverts from these logos.

ABSTRACT PAINTINGS KELVIN OLA-AYOADE

I looked at a range of abstract paintings for research on part of

the clients requests. From work done by Kandinsky to current
abstract paintings inspired by Jazz. You can grab a sense of
movement in these images and feel the mood and energy of
the paintings, something I would like to involve in the logo.

I looked at images and videos that visually communicate sound.

Sound waves, music notations, colour layers and movement. Len
lye’s animations are influenced by Jazz by just looking at the stills
below you can feel the free flow essence of the genre. I looked
at abstract music logos that visually express sound.
