A HIGH CAPACITY STEGANOGRAPHY SCHEME FOR JPEG2000

BASELINE SYSTEM

ABSTRACT:

Image processing is the process of getting an image, photograph or video

frame as input and producing output as the image, characters, parameters related to
the input image. In this project, data is hidden into an image using the
steganography. For removing the excess space in the image and noises we go for
compression, where lossy compression supporting high compression ratio is used.
The system in existence is capable of hiding the data into at the least significant
bits position. So the hiding capacity is less, hence the redundancy available is also
less. The bit-stream truncation makes difficult to hide the data into an image.

In our system the JPEG2000 baseline system uses the bit plane encoding
procedure twice to solve the problem of quantitative manner via redundancy
evaluation to increase the hiding capacity. The redundancy is measured by bits,
which is different from existing system for adjusting the embedding intensity. The
Embedded Block Coding Optimized Truncation algorithm using wavelet technique
to segment the image and hide data at all positions of the image.
