Wireless power transmission

We have done wireless power transmission as our final year project.

We have Transmitted Power at a distance of 8 feet successfully. To
demonstrate the idea we have lighten the L.E.D at a distance of 8feet
from the source.
We choose this project as our final year project because it is a new idea
and very few people have worked in this field/area before.
We have used Resonant Inductive coupling to implement the idea. We
have coupled the coils at 1 MHz. Originally we tried to couple the coils at
10 MHz but due to unavailability of high frequency components and
Financial constraint we lowered our working frequency to 1 MHz.
