Objectives: Extension of EE 415 to familiarize the student with principles of both field theory
and coupled coil analysis of electric machines. Introduction to methods for
analysis of electric machines under transient conditions, including the repetitive
steady-state of power electronic drives. Application of MATLAB in electric
machine analysis.
