RIVERHEAD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Special Meeting — June 7, 2011 7:00 p.m. - Open to Public/High School Cafeteria Ladies and Gentlemen: The Riverhead Board of Education is the authorized state agency responsible for setting educational policy in the district. It consists of seven members. They serve three-year terms and receive no salary or other financial compensation. All meetings, except for executive sessions, are held before the public. The Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District will hold a Special meeting on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the Riverhead High School Music Room #123, 700 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York. Scheduling of Organizational Meeting RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District approves the date of July 6, 2011 to hold the Annual Organizational Meeting as in accordance with New York State Education Law (§1707(2)). C. Authorization of Transfer to General Fund RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District authorizes the transfer from the Employee Benefits and Accrued Liabilities Fund to the General Fund in an amount not to exceed $450,000 to cover leave payments to retiring employees. D. Rejection of Proposals WHEREAS, three proposals for Schoo! Physician Services RFP #2011-112 were opened on May 10, 2011; and WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed by the Interim Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations, the Director of Pupil Personnel Services and the District's Purchasing Agent, and they recommend the rejection of the proposals received; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District hereby rejects the proposals received for RFP #201 1-112 School Physician Services. E. Approval to Attend N-SSBA Conference for Newly Elected Board Member RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District, approves the expenditure of $65 for newly elected Board member, Kimberly E.
