KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

This project is aimed at developing an online intranet knowledge management system to a college. The system (KMS) can be accessed by anyone. Students/Staff should be able to upload any kind of information. Anyone can access/search any information put up by others. With the help of this software the user quickly get the list of all topics already done in the college as main project/mini project/seminar/paper presentation and list of available books and journals in the library. User can easily collect the previous university question papers and lectures notes from this site. From this software KMS should facilitate knowledge sharing. Mainly four modules are here. They are 1. Administrator: Administrator has the overall control of the system. Mainly his functions are y Question paper Updation y Library catalogue Updation y Update data pool y Login control 2. Staff: The main functions are y Lecture note updation y Data pool updation

3. Student: Mainly students are the users of this system. They can access the available data in the system and can update y Data pool y Topics

4. Other users: Other user means the people who are not a student or staff. They can access the data but cant upload.
