ABSTRACT

Virtual Private Network is an technology most of the organizations are preferring this technology to access the point to point private network and Remote access network to get access of data from private network. VPN is most advance technology access of private network from public network. Maintaining privacy through the use of a tunneling protocol and security procedures. Provide remote access to an organization's network via the Internet ,Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol, Layer 2 tunneling protocol and IP Security VPN majorly access of remote access of data from private network through public line, VPN works as an virtual networks, mainly VPN defines accessing of a private network over a public network. Whenever the VPN is accessed public network IP will be disabled and private network IP will be enabled and and IP is an virtual IP in the accessing network. This is due to giving up the security to the data at the time of remote access. At the time of Remote VPN the data will be encrypted by using an algorthims for every 15 mins. This process can be accessed only by the authorized users in the private network .
