SPECIAL VEHICLE ALARM FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

PETROL
MAKE BMW MOD. 3 SERIES YEAR 93-99 DIESEL
ALARM/SIREN Mount the compact alarms and the sirens in the engine compartment, on the
POSITION drivers side.

CENTRAL UNIT POSITION Mount the Alarm CPU in a hidden location in the under dash area.

POWER SUPPLY +30: Splice into the RED wire at the ignition switch harness.
-30: Connect with a ring terminal to chassis ground.

IGNITION WIRE +15/54:

DIRECTIONAL INDICATORS Connect to the BLUE/BROWN, BLUE/GREEN (Permanent Feed -


does not flash test light) located in the small loom above the steering
column - remove drivers under dash panel to access.
ELECTRIC WINDOWS

CENTRAL DOOR LOCKING Positive polarity control signal


Position 4 unlocks and 13&14 lock on Yellow Plug, 97 onwards had Purple Plug,
located under the glove box. Note: locking will not work with the light switch
pushed in - therefore shut doors to test. See Special Instructions for Dead locking.

IMMOBILISATION POINT 1 Fuel Pump: cut the thicker of the 2 RED/WHITE wires on White Relay on N/S
rear of engine bay in a black box.

IMMOBILISATION POINT 2 Starter;

BONNET SWITCH Fit a bonnet switch.

DOOR SWITCH Front Doors: connect to the BROWN/BLUE and BROWN/GREY with yellow
hoops. Rear Doors: connect to the BROWN/BLACK and BROWN/WHITE wires.
Located in the Green Plug next to Purple Plug (Use diodes - One per wire)

BOOT SWITCH Connect to the BROWN/WHITE wire in the loom to the boot behind the passenger
side rear seat back rest.
